About ID3 : ReBirth version!

Launched late on November 28, 2003.

Excerpt from ID original manifesto ...

'ID is a worldwide project celebrating independent content and design on the web. It's supported by an informal network of designers, artists, writers, editors, developpers and producers who create content and design to enrich the web.

'The independent content scene is alive and well ...

What I call the 'core' new media community has for years dedicated its time, efforts, talents and resources in building the web as we know it today and has done so, largely off the radar of mainstream media... and that's ok.

We refer to ourselves as being the 'independent web'.

Communication + Exchange + Collaborate

Equals exponential results! What power beholds us! This simple sentence summarizes how the independent web can work to generate, propagate and sustain positive changes around the world.

NeXt?

ID3 : ReBirth intends to work as a catalyst to help revive the nuclei called the independent web by collectively using our talents, our knowledge, our creativity, our diversity, our resiliency, our generosity to kick start projects that will hopefully have genuine benefits to all in our world because of our concerted efforts.

Never underestimate the power of one. Imagine when many become one.

Oh and as a side dish perhaps we will even have some attention from mainstream media, correct a couple misconceptions and unveil who we are.

Let's do this!

The 'Transition' phase

Transition phase is now completed and was set en route sometimes past end of August by Carole Guevin, one of ID co-founders.

She is a new media theorist, research nut, idea generator, communication philosopher and partner of Pxl>table.

Known as the editor of netdiver.net an online magazine that focuses on design and digital culture circa 1995. She is an unrelenting new media industry evangelist, activist and catalyst.
